Amber's 28th Birthday!!

I had a great birthday!! I chose to eat at Rudy's for dinner and my family attended and so did the Jost's, Kammerer's and Mrs. Petrie. We all had a great time especially Ashton and Emily. Ashton got a hold of the camera and chased Emily around, taking pictures of her. He actually got some good ones of her. Maybe a photographer in his future?? Thank you everyone for a wonderful birthday!

I want Daddy! Not you, mom!

Ashton has made it very clear that he is a daddy's boy. Every day when I pick him up from school he asks where his daddy is. Well, yesterday when I picked him up, he started crying and said "No mommy, I want daddy pick me up. You're not my favorite." His daddy phase has been going on now for the last few months and I am wondering just how long this will last. I just tell him "thats ok, I still love you" which usually leads to him saying "I not love you". He does have his Mommy moments every great once in awhile which is nice.

Mother's Day

We went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on Mother's day with the Jost's and had a great time. Emily, who is 1, experienced riding rides for the first time. It seemed to me that she really enjoyed the rides. Seeing Emily riding the rides I think helped Ashton realize that rides are fun. He has always steered away from rides, except trains. This time he was not so reluctant to get on the rides. We even talked him into riding the Scooby-Doo ride. He has always said that it is too scary because of the ghosts and the darkness. But he soon realized that if Emily was going than so could he.
